How to Pay: UNF Students
Payment by E-Check or Credit Card
You may pay all or a portion of your rent with credit card or e-check through your myWings account by the deadline. Using the following process will assure your payment is tied to your housing charge:
- Access your myWings account.
- Enter student ID and password.
- Select “Student”
- Click on the box that says “View & Pay My Bill”
- Click "Make a Payment" twice to view an itemized bill.
- Select "Pay by Line Item"
- Select the Housing line, input the payment amount in the Housing box and complete the process
- Print a copy of the receipt for your records.
Please note - A 2.75 % non-refundable convenience fee is charged on payments made by credit card. There is no additional fee if paying by e-check.
The Department of Housing and Residence Life will defer all or a portion of rent against any posted and accepted financial aid provided there is enough for housing rent after meal plan and tuition/fees and aid pays out as expected.
For Main Campus Housing - If there is enough to cover all expenses, you will be cleared for move-in. If there is a portion of housing rent not covered by accepted financial aid, the portion not covered must be paid by the housing rent due date.
For The Flats at UNF – Fall (September – December) and Spring (January – April) rent can be deferred for the months you have enough aid to cover. To defer your rent, a Deferment Request Form must be submitted by the first week of every semester and can be found on the Flats at UNF’s page on the UNF Housing website. (August rent is due before move-in.)
Florida Pre-Paid Housing
This method will cover the cost of a
double occupancy air conditioned space approved by Florida Prepaid.
This year, Florida Pre-Paid has approved the following room types:
Some of our rooms will not be covered totally by Florida Prepaid. If you are in a room not listed above, contact a Housing accountant to determine the additional amount you will need to pay. You will also need to authorize us to bill Florida Prepaid by submitting a copy of your current Florida Prepaid card by the Housing payment due date.
Flats at UNF residents must also submit by the first week of every semester a Deferment Request Form that can be found on the Flats at UNF’s page on the UNF Housing website.
