We hope that as an Honors Program student, you are foremost interested in the invaluable skills that you will develop while participating in unique learning opportunities. As an Honors student, it is our goal for you to learn to think critically and carefully about the world around you as you work closely with faculty engaged in interdisciplinary experiential learning opportunitiess.
In order to graduate with the designation of University Honors, students must complete 15 credit hours of designated Honors courses during their tenure at UNF. As part of this coursework, Honors students complete an Honors Freshman Colloquium and a Capstone experience. Other Honors courses span a wide variety of subject matter and often take the place of general education requirements and major prerequisites. At the time of graduation, students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.
