Ashley N. Ballard is a local health educator who specializes in helping young people improve their lives through healthy eating, physical training and sound decision-making. She’s a graduate of the University of North Florida (UNF), having received her bachelor’s degree in Health Science in 2005 and a Masters of Public Health in 2009. Mrs. Ballard began her work in public health, starting as a peer educator for Project Tag, a teen abstinence program. She currently serves as the Coordinator of Health Education in the UNF Department of Health Promotion.
The department’s mission is to promote the health and well-being of the university community. Through our services, we foster physical, emotional, and intellectual development within others, which will lead to learning, healthier living, and student retention

The Office Manager responsibilities includes: monitoring and creating budgetary reports, verifying and approving timesheets, and other employment concerns.
Coordinator of Health Education
Michael has earned his BS in Health Science and works as a health educator in the Dept of Health Promotion. Among his diverse interests are Fishing, music, bike riding, paintball, cars, the beach, movies, and swimming.
Ogier Gardens Coordinator
Responsible for the Ogier Gardens, student staff and volunteers. Also assists with the planning and implementation of Health Promotion’s programs, activities and special events.
