The Committee met five times under the leadership of Chair Kathaleen Bloom.

The Committee’s primary charge is to evaluate and recommend funding for the Summer Scholarship Grants. The Committee reviewed 37 proposals, forwarded the rankings to Academic Affairs, recommending award of scholarship grants of $7500 to 19 nineteen faculty members (51.35%). This is consistent with the level of funding for the past 4 years.

The committee analyzed the review process and made recommendations for alterations to facilitate the application and review process. The Committee met with Dr. Ebong to discuss University policies affecting faculty research endeavors.
