We are removing the option of completing RED 3310 (Reading Methods I for Elementary Teachers)in the Core Requirements.
Rationale: RED 3310 does not satisfy the Florida Department of Education reading competency requirements for Physical Education majors. In addition, consultation with RED 3310 course facilitators in the Department of Childhood Education, Literacy, and TESOL have indicated that this course has been redesigned and the new objectives are not applicable for Physical Education majors.
