Dear Colleagues,

Happy Gregorian New Year! I hope you have a great start in this year and new semester.

Please recall that we agreed to do our APC work for January in a virtual mode, because this is such a busy week for participating in our scheduled meeting. The business we have to take care of now is a second review of the revised packages for the Religious Studies Program, Package #201108-50.  We also need to approve the minutes of our last meeting, which I have attached to this message. Please respond to this message with your approval vote for the December 2011 meeting minutes.

To accomplish the second review of Package #201108-50, please post your comments and questions in the 15 items of the package. By next Thursday, January 12, when the Faculty Association Meeting will occur, we can vote on our approval this month of the completed package for the new Religious Studies Major. I will send out a message that day calling for your vote on the approval of the package. You can vote through a reply to the message.

The January 5, 2012 APC meeting will be cancelled due to no ready APC submissions, and the meeting location in Honors Hall will be under HVAC work renovation.
