Call To Order:
Dr. Candice Carter called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.

The packages containing Log # 201108-87, 201108-101, 201108-102,
201108-103 were approved with addition of the previous program of study with new changes.
   
 
Mathematics and Statistics- 8 packages (Log #201108-111, 201108-115, 201108-116, 201108-117, 201108-118, 201108-119, 201108-120, 201108-121)
 
The packages containing Log #201108-111, 201108-115, 201108-116, 201108-117,
201108-118, 201108-119, 201108-120, 201108-121 were approved.
   
 
Group B-HONORS Program:
 
Honors Program- 1 package containing Log # 201108-98
 
The package containing Log # 201108-98 was approved with the notation to change the program of study to accurately reflect the program changes.
   
 
Group C-COEHS:
 
Childhood Education1 package Log # 201108-61
 
The package containing Log # 201108-61 was approved.

The package containing Log # 201108-32 was approved.

The packages containing Log # 201108-112, 201108-113, & 201108-114 were approved with changes of editing the program of study to more accurately reflect the changes, list lab courses and update the state program changes.
   
 
Physics7 packages (Log #201108-51, 201108-52, 201108-53, 201108-54, 201108-55, 201108-56, & 201108-57)
 
The packages containing Log #201108-51, 201108-52, 201108-53, 201108-54, 201108-55, 201108-56, & 201108-57 were approved with change of program of study on Log # 201108-52 to include 4 free electives.
   
 
Group E-COAS- Part III:
 
Political Science and Public Administration-13 packages (Log # 201108-76, 201108-77, 201108-78, 201108-79, 201108-70, 201108-71, 201108-72, 201108-73, 201108-74,
201108-75, 201108-97, 201108-80, 201108-123)
 
The packages containing Log # 201108-76, 201108-77, 201108-78, 201108-79, 201108-70, 201108-71, 201108-72, 201108-73, 201108-74, 201108-75, 201108-97, 201108-80, 201108-123 were approved with changes of adding the old program of study with new changes to each item. In addition,Log # 201108-71- needed approval by Dean Chally for requested program change.Log # 201108-80- needed revision of course objectives.
   
 
Philosophy & Program of Religious Studies- 8 packages (Log # 201108-86, 201108-104, 201108-105, 201108-106, 201108-107, 201108-108, 201108-109 & 201108-50)
 
The package containing Log # 201108-86 was approved.The packages containing Log # 201108-104, 201108-105, 201108-106, 201108-107, 201108-108, 201108-109 were approved with changes to the course objectives. The package containing Log #201108-50 was sent back for completion of the program of study and course objectives. The committee agreed to virtually review the package in January, if it will be ready then, due to the cancellation of the January meeting.
   
IV.
Other Business
  The January 5, 2012 APC meeting will be cancelled due to no ready APC submissions and the meeting location in Honors Hall will be under HVAC work renovation.

Adjournment and Next Meeting
 

The next meeting will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the Faculty Association Meeting Room, Bldg 10, Room 1120.
