Vince Smythe gave an update and other happenings in the units under his charge. |
| Starbucks: Project moving forward. Design approved by Starbucks after some discussions. Architect identified for construction. A late September opening is expected. |

| Food Services: |
| Cafeteria: Separate dishroom project is progressing. This will provide more spece in the main area and also make it possible to have two sets of trays so that dry trays can be provided. |
| Madrid Cafe will not be coming back due to financial issues. Suggestion was made for replacement with a different provider (who has vegetarian offerings) like some Italian or Mexican restaurant.

| Issue of outside visitor groups crowding out faculty and students at lunch time was raised. |
|
| Book Store: |
Things are going well. No complaints. Again early intimation of adoptions by faculty would be a great help. |
|
| Parking: |
| A "green road" will be constructed to connect the north parking lot to the police building location and then shuttles will be considered. |
| Parking decals will be available from August 1. |
| The Fine Arts Bldg parking garage is expected to be power-washed over the christmas holidays. |
|
| Printing: |
| The new Digital Storefront enables online submission of documents for copying. |
| |
| The new Student Union Building is expected to start construction in Sep 2008. |
|
| |
