The election for Faculty Association officers will take place March 2. Currently there are nominees for President and Vice President, but not for Secretary. Cynthia asked committee members to canvass faculty for nominees for Faculty Association Secretary and route all names to her.
Nominations will also be taken from the floor during the Faculty Association meeting February 2.
The election will take place at the Faculty Association meeting March 2. Cynthia will prepare the ballots and bring the ballot boxes to the meeting. Lee will prepare the faculty signature list. The following schedule was arranged for monitoring the ballot boxes:

The committee will meet Friday, March 3 at 1:30 to count ballots. Cynthia will inform everyone when a location has been arranged; either the Library conference room or the Faculty Association Meeting Room.
The election for University and Standing Committees will take place April 6. Nominations will be taken from the floor during the Faculty Association meeting March 2. Cynthia will need help writing names of nominees. The same election procedures decided on for the officer election will be followed for this election. Cynthia informed the committee that it wasn’t too early to start canvassing for University and Standing Committee vacancies. She pointed out that members of the Sabbatical and Promotion and Tenure Committees must be tenured. Committee vacancies are located on the Faculty Association web page.
