| Meeting called to order at 10:00, Office of Faculty Enhancement Conference Room |

Review of Minutes: Minutes of the last meeting were reviewed and approved. |

Grant Review Software: Discussion followed on development of an excel program to be used in calculating results of the evaluation of the summer teaching grants. JoAnn Nolin will forward a copy of the manual form used this year to Jace Hargis. The CIRT staff will be asked to assist with this task. |

Spring Schedule: Jace Hargis distributed an initial draft of the spring schedule. The suggested offerings were reviewed with discussion of the programs on podcasts and travel pedagogy. Discussion followed on the addition of programs suggested by committee members which included topics related to distance learning (DL) and technology supporting these efforts at UNF. The discussion on DL courses included concerns related to course development, DL as a competitive tool and current competition from other Florida universities and FCCJ in the area of DL. It was noted that faculty interest in these areas is increasing. |

The distance learning lab located in the Engineering Building was cited as a resource available to faculty. The committee members expressed an interest in visiting the lab and will contact the engineering department to see if we can schedule our next committee meeting in the FEEDS classroom... |

Each committee member has been asked to contact the faculty within their colleges to identify potential program offerings for the spring semester. Three suggestions have been received to date. Committee members are asked to contact Jace to help with development and/or support of their identified offering. Three suggestions have been received to date. This process will be repeated in the spring to facilitate planning for the fall 2006 schedule. |

Other: Jace Hargis announced that the Florida Faculty Development Consortium will be holding their biannual meeting at UNF on March 9, 2005. This group is made up of the Directors of Faculty Enhancement offices from Florida’s public and private colleges and universities. |

| The next meeting is scheduled for January 24, 2006 at 10:00. The location will be confirmed at a later date. |
