Minutes from the meeting of May 17 were distributed.

Pat Plumlee, with the consent of members on email, will send Dr. Ebong a letter, drafted by Chris Rasche, conveying our concerns about the draft Intellectual Property Policy. The earliest the committee can meet with him will be in the fall.

This group reviewed, amended, and approved the procedures for the new Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award, drafted by Ellie Scheirer and Jeannie Patterson—see attached for revised draft. This group agreed that only those faculty with approved graduate status would be eligible for the award, that summer courses could be included, that all courses listed would include enrollment, and that a minimum of 3 graduate courses must be taught over a two year period.
