The meeting was called to order at 1:00PM in building 42, room 3136.

Paul Mason, Chair of the Faculty Association Budget Advisory Committee announced that his tenure on the committee was ending and this would be his last meeting. The committee recognized Paul’s outstanding contribution and thanked him for his leadership over the past year. The Faculty Association Budget Advisory Committee voted and elected Jeff Harrison as the Chair for the upcoming year 2006-2007.

The data analysis and the reporting of the Faculty Association 2006 Budget Advisory Survey were discussed. The survey data included 172 completed surveys. The survey includes a demographic section, questions about faculty budget priorities and questions about future activities for the Faculty Association Budget Advisory Committee. Enclosure (1) is a narrative Summary of the Faculty Association 2006 Budget Advisory Survey results. The survey will be forwarded to the Faculty Association Executive Committee for distribution in the Fall 2006 to the faculty.

The results from the Faculty Association 2006 Budget Advisory Survey will provide the foundation for 2006-2007 Faculty Association Budget Advisory Committee activities. In addition, the following topics will be evaluated during the upcoming year.
