Introductory Remarks: |
| At this initial meeting, Lee Richardson was elected Chair and Mike Jackson was elected Secretary of the Committee. |
|
The Committee agreed to meet on the 2 nd Tuesday of every month at 12:10 PM, with the next meeting scheduled for October 11 th at 12:10 PM. |
|
Discussions and Announcements: |
| Lee Richardson agreed to distribute a letter notifying all adjunct faculty of the committee members and their contact information (to be handled electronically). |
|
| Lee Richardson further agreed to distribute the results of the Report of Part-Time Faculty Survey, from November 2003, for review by the Committee. |
|
| The Committee discussed the apparent need to better orient adjunct faculty with the services available to them at UNF. The current Committee will investigate a recommendation from a previous Adjunct Affairs Committee to assign a Faculty Fellow for adjuncts. Lee Richardson also agreed to begin the process of setting up library orientations for adjunct faculty. |
