Thanks for your rapid responses.  I have reserved room 2027 conference room in the COH building #39 for the meeting.   Lee Richardson has agreed to have her name submitted to chair the committee.  Once you have officially elected your chair and recording secretary there will be a short meeting to determine your goals for the upcoming academic year.

OK – let’s try again - doing the meeting online does not seem to have worked this month.  I am no longer a member of the committee but my final charge is to arrange the election of your new chair for the upcoming academic year.  - If you want you can share the chair and do it by semesters or you can elect a chair for the entire academic year.  It is important that you elect a member to serve as chair so they can attend the Executive Kick Off Luncheon scheduled for September 20 th.  Please let me know who is willing to have their name submitted to serve as chair and I will schedule a meeting within the next two week. 

Please send me days and time bocks you are free to meet and I will schedule a meeting before September 20 th.

With the majority of committee members working part time over the summer semester it appears that there is not a day that everyone can meet.  What do you think about having an online committee meeting?  There are only two items that need to be addressed.  First is to thank the outgoing members and returning members and welcome the new members.  Second there are two issues that need to be addressed:
     1.     Electing a chair for the committee and assigning someone to do the
             minutes for the 2005/2006 academic year
     2.     The committee needs to talk about the future direction/focus of the              committee
