SUPPORT SERVICES COMMITTEE

The Faculty Association Support Services Committee met ten times during 2004-2005.
 
The focus of the meetings was to sit with those in charge of different support services on campus, get an idea of what they are doing, what their plans are and offer suggestions from the point of view of the faculty.
 

We had meetings with
the Director of Auxiliary Services,
the Book Store Manager,
the Director of the Academic Center for Excellence,
the Director of Sponsored Research and Training,
the Director of Libraries,
the Associate Vice President for Administration and Finance,
the Director of Facilities Planning,
the Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs (Institutional Research),
the University Controller,
the Payroll Office,
the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs (Finances and Budgets).

 
The committee would like to thank all these adminsitrators for spending time with us and providing us with information and answering questions.
 
In 2005-2006, the committee will continue working with these and other administrators to act as a liaison between faculty and the administration.
 
As chair of the committee, I would like to thank also the members for their interest and participation in the proceedings of the committee.
