As chair of the previous year's committee, Bob reviewed the activities of the committee over the previous year and outlined the basic areas of interest. These include: Cooperative Education and Career Development, Food Services, Bookstore, Parking, Center for Student Success and Retention and Physical facilities.

Rama Rao volunteered to be chair for the 2004-2005 academic year. Verna will continue as secretary to the committee. The committee members present decided that the committee would invite representatives from each area that the committee monitors to appear before the committee to describe their activities as a way of staying in touch with the areas.

The committee will continue last year's general meeting pattern of having a meeting on Tuesday of the week that the Faculty Association has its monthly meeting on Thursday. The next meeting will be October 5, 2004, at 1:30 p.m. in the Faculty Association meeting room.
