| Synopsis of committee deliberations: |
|
Meetings. The Strategic Planning Committee met six times during the 2004-2005 academic year. No representative from the committee could attend Executive Committee meetings (except one) because they were held on Tuesdays. The committee meeting in March 2005 was not conducted due to lack of a quorum. The meeting in April 2005 did not meet as scheduled because most committee members were unable to attend. |

Master Plan. The committee met with Richard Crosby in October 2004 and reviewed the Campus Facilities Master Plan and the Land Use Plan. In December 2004, Richard Crosby returned to meet with the group and presented the Final Conceptual Development Plan. Committee members generally supported the plan as presented. |

Strategic Plan. The committee reviewed the UNF Strategic Plan in several versions of development during the academic year. An updated copy of the plan was kept posted on a Blackboard tm site for access by all committee members. Doreen Radjenovic represented the committee at the Academic Affairs retreat in January 2005 where the relationship of the UNF and BOG strategic plans was discussed. Doreen Radjenovic and Sharon Cobb were group leaders in faculty focus group discussions of the UNF strategic plan. Doreen Radjenovic and Steven Williamson attended a meeting with representatives from the BOG and UNF administrators to discuss strategic planning especially related to enrollment modeling. Repeated opportunities for the committee to meet with Tom Serwatka (from the President’s office) allowed committee members to provide input into the strategic plan document. |
