The next regular meeting of the Committee will be on Tuesday, November 9, 2004, at 12:00 Noon, in the Faculty Association meeting rooms.

The Minutes of the September meeting were reviewed. They could not be approved due to lack of a quorum; however, they will be corrected to reflect that Kathy Cohen was not present at the September meeting.

Acting as a Sub-Committee of the Faculty Affairs Committee, the members present reviewed Judy Solano's proposed revisions to 10.2 Policy and Procedure for Dealing with Allegations of Misconduct in Scientific Research and/or Scholarly Activity. With editorial changes recommended by Kathy Cohen, the proposed revisions were approved by the Sub-Committee and will be reviewed at the November Faculty Affairs Committee meeting.

Professional, collegial interactions were discussed and the guidance that may be available. Kathy Cohen noted the EAP as a resource and Ellie will review the AAUP Code of Ethics.
