Call To Order:
Dr. Candice Carter called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.

Approval of Minutes
Approved as posted on the Faculty Association web site were the minutes from the December 2, 2010 meeting.

Group A:
   
 

CCEC- School of Engineering/ Civil (APC 1, 2, & 3 – 9 Forms)

 

(Log # 2010/11-054 to 062): change the effective term on all forms from 201105 to 201108;
Log #2010/11-057: hold APC1, return to Adel El Safty;
Log #2010/11-058: rewrite objectives under D-4;
Log #2010/11-061: rewrite objectives under D-4;
Log #2010/11-062: Chris Brown is to contact Shawn Brayton for clarification of allowed program credits.
None of the items were approved separately and the entire packet was returned to the department for final preparation and a second review by the APC.

   
 

COEHS- Leadership, School Counseling & Sport Management - 1 package

 
(Log# 201008-11): Add rationale for name change to summary
With noted changes, the package containing Log# 201008-11 was approved.
   
 

BCH- Public Health- 2 packages

 
(Log # 201008-7 &32): Log #201008-32: Strike through name on Program of Study and add new title of “Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program.”
With noted changes, the package containing Log #201008-7 & 32 was approved.

Log #201008-30: Change title to BBA-Business Management program, change
Program of Study to show strike through and addition of new course ECO3411.
With noted changes, the package containing Log #201008-30 was approved.

   
 

CCB-Marketing and Logistics- 2 packages

 
(Log # 201008-94 & 95)
Log # 201008-94: post old Program of Study, strike through course and add rationale to summary as to why MAR4156 is being removed.
Log #201008-95: make changes on Program of Study to reflect program change, add title            Social Psychology after SOP3004 under summary and include a note from the Psychology Department chair that the department is aware of the change.
With noted changes, the package containing Log #201008-94 & 95 were approved.

Log #201008-64: add “Advanced” prior to Documentary Studies under #9 of Summary and change 4xxx to 3xxx and remove “Advanced” under #10.
With noted changes, the package containing Log # 201008-64 was approved.

(Log #201008-82, & 91)
Log #201008-82: Need old Program of Study, strike through and show program changes, add rationale to summary as to why changes are needed.
With noted changes, the packages containing Log #201008-82 & 91 were Approved.

Other Business
 

Lisa Jamba noted that “ALLOW EDITING” by author was added to the APC Workflow System. Also, training on the APC system will be held January 21 and February 22 from 10-12 noon.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:55 a.m.
The next APC meeting will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 10 a.m.
