Budget Advisory Committee Minutes

Present:	Jeff Harrison (Chair), Judy Perkins, Bill Voorhees, Elena Buzaianu, Hong Chen, Patrick Plumlee, Aaron Sheehan-Dean Absent: none

The meeting was called to order at 10:30 AM in the Brooks College of Health building 39, room 4032B.

I.	The minutes from the previous meeting of August 22, 2007 were reviewed and approved.

II.	The State University Undergraduate Performance Model dated 4/27/07 was discussed. Enclosure (1) provides the final draft of the comments and recommendations from the Budget Committee for future presentation to the Faculty Association.

III.	The Faculty Association Budget Advisory Committee establishes the following tentative agenda for the coming year: Foundation Accounting, UNF Budget, Academic Affairs Budget, Sponsored Research, Legislative Affairs and Staff Compensation. Pierre Allaire, Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Alumni Affairs was unable to attend this meeting due to prior commitments and will be invited to meet with the Faculty Association Budget Advisory Committee at its next meeting.

IV.	Adjournment & Next Meeting: The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday October 17, 2007 at 10:30AM in the Brooks College of Health building 39, room 4032B.
