Course Description:
This course studies the process of integrating different systems and software applications by examining current and emerging trends, strategies, and techniques for developing systems integration solutions effectively. Example topics covered include, but are not limited to: systems interoperability issues and challenges, documenting integration requirements using business process models, designing integration solutions reusing patterns, and implementing integration solutions using advanced integration technologies. Students will extend course topics via programming assignments and other assigned activities.

Changing title of course from "Electrical Engineering Design II" to "Senior Capstone Design II" in order maintain consistency amongst all senior capstone courses in the School of Engineering.

Changing title of course from "Senior Design I" to "Senior Capstone Design I" in order maintain consistency amongst all senior capstone courses in the School of Engineering.  Changing prerequisite from "Senior Standing" and "Permission of Instructor" to EEL4744C (Microcontroller Applications) and EEE4309C (Electronic Circuits I).  These new prerequisites will ensure that students enrolling will have senior standing and the necessary knowledge to enroll in the senior capstone design course.
