BSH-Athletic Training Major

Summary of Changes:
We are requesting replacement of HSC 4730 Research in Health Science (3 cr.) with PET 4XXX Research in Sports Medicine (3 cr.) to the Athletic Training Education Program. The Athletic Training Education Program currently requires students to take HSC 4730 Research in Health Science. HSC 4730 does not fulfill the educational competencies and proficiencies now required by our accrediting body, the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education Programs (CAATE). This new course is designed to meet all educational competencies and proficiencies required by CAATE.
