Recommendation on Library Resources |
| |
Recommendation : Resources permitting, the University shall allocate appropriate resources to improve the collection of research databases at the UNF Library in a variety of subject areas. |
| |
Rationale : Acquisition of additional research databases will provide the academic community with resources to support current and future research. The Library lacks appropriate resources to support scholarship in several disciplines.
$100,000 of one-time funding for retrospective material and $150,000 of ongoing funding for electronic resources would help the library increase its selection of research databases across the curriculum.
The Library has identified a number of electronic databases which would enhance research. This list below represents a few of the "types of resources" which could be offered to UNF researchers if funding were provided. |
