Course Description:
Relationships compose a large part of our existence both personally and professionally. In the health care fields as in any profession, whether relationships begin, continue, or end depends largely on our interpersonal skills. The purpose of this course is to help students develop healthy, effective interpersonal skills in their personal and professional lives. This course provides an overview of the importance and power of interpersonal relationships, the difficulties inherent in cultivating interpersonal relationships, and the skills necessary to effectively develop and maintain professional health and personal relationships . Through didactic instruction and experiential activities student will learn a variety of interpersonal skills and techniques. No new faculty or additional resources are required for this course. |

A laboratory course in Exercise Physiology will strengthen the Exercise Science minor program of study.
Summary of Change:
Add HSC 4XXXL - Lab Methods in Exercise Physiology for Health Science, as a requirement in the Exercise Science Minor. Delete an elective in the Exercise Science program of study. The total number of required semester hours will remain at 60.
