Other: International Business Certificate (IBC) |
This request is to make changes to the IBC curriculum to eliminate 1.5-credit

The entire existing curriculum will be eliminated. The current version

courses, which have become unworkable given the standard 3-3 teaching
loads. The program has been revised to include only 3-credit courses.
The new curriculum is as follows:

MBA: Concentration in International Business Track |
This request is to create a Concentration in International Business Track
within the MBA program. The MBA degree is a generalist degree. However,
many students wish to focus their studies in a particular field. Therefore,
CCB has been creating tracks in each field of study within the MBA program.
The Concentration in International Business is one such track.

BBA: International Business major |
This request is to expand the list of International Business Program (IBP)
Major Electives to include any international business course. The only
excluded international courses offered by CCB are ECO 3701 Contemporary
International Economic Issues and GEO 3553 Cultural Aspects of Economic
Geography, which are geared toward non-business majors. CCB has added
numerous IB courses since the major was originally developed. This updates
the major to allow students to use these courses in their programs of
study.
