Rationale: The university catalog policy states that the number of concurrent enrollment hours is 7. This change has not yet been approved by this body.
DIVISION: Academic Affairs
SUBJECT: Concurrent Enrollment
The purpose of this policy is to restrict the number of lower level student credit hours a UNF degree-seeking student can take as a concurrently enrolled student.
Approved by the Faculty Association [insert date] and the President of the University [insert date].
Once a student has matriculated at UNF as a lower division student (less than 60 hours), he/she may concurrently enroll in no more than 7 hours at another regionally accredited college or university for credit toward a UNF degree program. Exceptions may be approved by the academic advisor for extenuating circumstances.
All students (upper and lower) must complete the concurrent enrollment form, obtain approval from an academic advisor, and obtain certification from the Registrar=s Office prior to concurrent enrollment elsewhere.
