This request is to: (1) change core requirements to allow students to choose either PUP 6006 "Public Program Evaluation" or PUP 6007 "Policy Analysis" to meet core requirements; (2) change admission requirements to the program to make full admission not dependent on scoring a specific minimum on the GRE; (3) explain the capstone project requirements more fully, and add information concerning the program admission sequence; (4) add clarification of the MPA Fast Track requirement for both UNF and non-UNF program applicants; (5) indicate course number of course required for Capstone continuation; (6) change all MPA program catalog language to reflect increase in core hours required, (7) PAD 6436 add. "Ethics: Theory and Practice for Administrators" moved to core.

The Pre-Medical Professions Program (not an academic program) plans to add new services in the form of a certificate program for post-baccalaureate students who wish to become competitive candidates for medical professional schools. The new services are designed for students who have not previously applied for admission to medical professional schools. This requires no new UNF courses. The length of the program and the particular mix of courses depend on the particular needs of the student, the obligatory year between the MCAT and medical school matriculation, and on potential linkages with medical professional schools.
