Good Academic Standing (to be inserted after Satisfactory Academic Progress, page 20) Graduate students who possess a cumulative UNF grade point average of 3.0 or higher are considered to be in "good academic standing." Rationale: Students must be informed of the standards required to maintain academic progress towards their degree. A definition of "good standing" is important for scholarship, financial aid, insurance, some volunteer programs, internships, co-operative education experiences, honors, etc. Some of the reasons it is important to specify the criteria for "good standing" in the University Undergraduate and Graduate Catalog are: 1.
SUS institutions require that students are deemed as being in
good standing for admissions
purposes.
