ITEM #1 - Submitted by the Nominations and Elections Committee

A special election for the Faculty Affairs Committee will be held at the September Faculty Association Meeting. The ballot includes the nominees appearing on the Spring, 2000, ballot for scheduled vacancies which begin in Fall, 2000, with the exclusion of one ineligible candidate. The nominees are: Andrew Farkas, Gary Harmon, Pat Plumlee, Elinor Scheirer, Steve Shapiro, Judy Solano, Terry Tabor, Diane Tanner.

The election will continue in the Library second floor atrium immediately after the Faculty Association meeting to 4:00 p.m. and on the following Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Faculty Association members unable to vote at the scheduled voting times elections may exercise their votes during the week before the election day by obtaining absentee ballots from the Office of the Faculty Association.
