| Cross-listed Courses Policy

| Approved by the Graduate Council and the Council
of Deans. Combined instruction of graduate and undergraduate students must be structured to ensure appropriate attention to both groups. The expectations for undergraduate students must be consistent with the expectations undergraduate students would face in other courses offered to undergraduates only. The expectations for graduate students must be consistent with the expectations graduate students would face in other courses offered to graduates only. The syllabi for these co-listed courses must clearly differentiate between what is expected of undergraduate and what is expected of graduate students. Faculty teaching a course that is co-listed as graduate and undergraduate must meet the requirements for teaching a graduate course. |
