Election of Nominations and Elections Committee

Mission

Student Conduct supports the mission of the University and the Division of Student Affairs by encouraging students to change their behavior if they are found responsible for violating community standards. We meet the needs of students throughout the Conduct process by providing them consistency, fairness, and understanding. We challenge and support students through the Student Conduct process and guide them toward new ideas/perspectives by providing educational sanctions to reinforce why community standards exist. We also partner with other UNF departments when working toward the common goals of student development and civic responsibility.

Student Conduct Code

The Student Conduct Code is designed to promote responsible behavior for all students consistent with the welfare of the UNF community. In order to function effectively and to provide a climate in which all members can fulfill their personal, social and academic obligations, the University has established this Code for defining behavioral rights and responsibilities within this community. The responsibility for this Code is administered through the Division of Student Affairs.
Information concerning the conduct process can be found in the 2007-2008 Student Conduct Code in the Student Handbook which can be picked up on campus or via the web at http://www.unf.edu/unfinfo/policies-regs/chapters/student_affairs/5_0010R.html.

Student Conduct Panel Committee

This committee serves as a Panel for more serious violations of the University Student Conduct Code (such as incidents involving drug dealing, endangerment, and sexual misconduct). The Committee currently consists of 7 faculty members, 11 staff, and 15 students.
