QUESTION SYNOPSIS - 1:
In reference to the procedures for developing new policies, it appears that faculty are not involved in this process until after policies developed. Can you describe how the Faculty Association is involved in the early phases of the process, and if not involved, please give rational for why not?

QUESTION SYNOPSIS - 2:
Is it possible that Academic Affairs or the Faculty Association can revisit the policy regarding activities on the green? Faculty that have classes near the green have been advised, but offices near the green have not being advised at all. The current policy does not adequately inform all those who may be affected.

QUESTION SYNOPSIS-II:

1. What criteria does the Committee use to regulate the distribution of proposals among committee representatives (i.e., which members receive which proposals)?

2. What criteria does the committee use to ensure that a particular representative’s solicitation of two additional reviewers represents a broad range of faculty interests, rather than interests of the representative’s particular department?

"As a follow up to the award results for Summer Research Grants, what is the two year history for the awarding of Summer Teaching Grants? Also, how many/what percentages are awarded for newer faculty versus established faculty?"
