QUESTION SYNOPSIS I:

A colleague reported that the entrance way to parking garage near the fine arts building has a big hole that keeps emerging even after repairs. Is there a plan to repair the holes in the parking lot? Judy Solano commented that the shuttle bus had to be rerouted as a result of the ‘crater’ as well.

QUESTION SYNOPSIS -II:

"This is a question for the athletic director at UNF.
I have noticed something about the local newspaper coverage of UNF sports. Why does the sports webpage in the Times Union feature special tabs and sections devoted to basketball, baseball, etc. for UF, FSU and JU but has no tab/section devoted to following UNF teams? Are we not now Division I? Isn’t our university “big” enough yet? Or did these other universities pay for this special treatment and UNF didn’t?
I can understand being treated on a lower level than the powerhouses of UF and FSU, but JU too? Are we not now in the same conference as JU? Perhaps it is because we don’t yet have much of a following? I’m sure I am not the only person in Jacksonville who has noticed this and maybe puzzled by it. Frankly, this treatment sends out a subtle message to the community that is not helping the local image of UNF. "
