QUESTION SYNOPSIS – I.
It has been brought to the attention of the UNF faculty that all chairs and associate deans salaries have been changed from 11/9 to 12/9 of their base salaries. This amounts to an 11.11% raise in addition to the across the board 3% raise they are receiving.
When did this special raise take effect? Who else received similar raises? And Why does faculty receive only 2% merit raises when administrators are getting 11.11% across the board raises?
QUESTION SYNOPSIS – II.
Should someone hired on a short-term administrative contract be given a faculty contract when the administrative appointment ends, if the person was hired with no search?
