1. Jan. 8 - Petty theft (Building 2) - A control systems technician noticed two wall clocks were missing from Buildings 2 and 4.
2. Jan. 8 - Petty theft
(Lot 16) - UPD recovered a stolen parking decal after placing a boot on the suspect's vehicle. The suspect said he bought the decal from a female student for $100. He was referred to Student Conduct.
3. Jan. 9 - Petty theft (Library) - Stolen
parking decal.
4. Jan. 14 - Accidental injury (Building 1) - A
university employee tripped on a rug and fell. She hurt her left leg, shoulder and back.
5. Jan. 15 - Petty theft (Building 41) - Delta Upsilon's wooden sign was stolen from the campus fountain area near Alumni Drive. There are currently no suspects.
6. Jan. 15 - Petty theft (Building 39) - Stolen skateboard.
7. Jan. 17 - Grand theft (Building 53) - A woman reported her diamond wedding band missing
after she left it on her
desk overnight.
8. Jan. 17 - Lost property (Building 8) - A UNF
employee reported a desktop projector missing following an inventory check when offices were being moved.
9. Jan. 17 - Grand theft (Library) - A woman's backpack and purse were stolen from a table in the library. The woman left the items unattended for 15 minutes.
10. Jan. 17 - Sick person (Building 45) - A student contacted UPD regarding feeling lightheaded during a class. Fire and Rescue responded and the student was transported to St. Luke's Hospital.
11. Jan. 17 - Drug possession (Building Y) - A UPD officer searched a dorm after receiving complaints about the smell of marijuana. Three students were present during the search and relinquished the drugs and drug paraphernalia. The students were referred to Student Conduct.
12. Jan. 17 - Criminal mischief (Building S) - Two safety glass doors were shattered between 6:10 and 6:45 p.m. There are no suspects at this time.
13. Jan. 17 - Alcohol under 21 (Building Q).
14. Jan. 19 - Alcohol investigation (Building R) - A UPD officer was dispatched to a dorm room after a resident assistant saw a student being carried to his room. The officer knocked on the door, but received no response. He entered the room and attempted to wake the resident, but he was unresponsive. When the student woke up, he was given a breathalyzer test that read .189. The student was sent to Detox and referred to Student Conduct.
15. Jan. 19 - Obscene telephone calls (Building T) - A student contacted UPD after she received a phone call in her dorm. A male voice relayed obscene messages and told her he was masturbating. UPD advised her to call if there was any further contact from the suspect.
