1. Dec. 20 - Injury (Outdoor basketball court)
2. Dec. 21 - Vehicle Damage (Building 41)- A student was driving to lot 19 while contractors were stripping the road with yellow paint.
She later noticed the paint on her tires and complained claiming it caused damage.
3. Dec. 23 - Theft (Building 10) - Officers noticed that the glass on a vending machine was broken.
The machine had four empty slots: two of Duplex Sandwich Creams and two of Reeses Whipped candy bars. The estimated total loss of product was $5.
4. Jan. 3 - Recovered vehicle (Auchter Building) - UPD officers were called in reference to a car stuck in the drainage canal next to the Auchter Co. building on Kernan Boulevard.
After running the plates, officers discovered the car had been reported stolen Dec. 30.
The owner was contacted and the car was towed.
5. Jan. 6 - Alcohol (Building B) - An area coordinator saw a male student take a large bag of ice into his room and discovered the student had a keg.
Although the student is 21 years old, it is against Housing policy to have a keg in a room.
The student was referred to Student Conduct.
6. Jan. 6 - Theft (Building U) - After returning from Winter Break, two students reported their television missing from their room.
7. Jan. 10 - Theft (Lot 18) - A student reported his car missing after he lost his car key.
He called AAA to unlock his car, but when he went out to Lot 18 to wait, his car was no longer there.
8. Jan. 11 - Lost keys (Building 1)
9. Jan. 11 - Fire Alarm (Building Z) - A resident was spraying a can of AXE Body Spray and lighting the fumes with a lighter "because he was bored." The spray created a flamethrower effect that set off the fire alarm in his room.
He was referred to Student Conduct.
10. Jan. 12 - Theft (Lot 11) - A student reported her license plate
missing.
She said she didn't know if it had been stolen or fallen off because it wasn't secured properly.
11. Jan. 12 - Stolen Parking Decal (Lot 18)
12. Jan. 12 - Criminal Mischief (Building R) - A male was seen repeatedly hitting a sprinkler with a fire extinguisher as another male watched.
The males ran off, dropping the fire extinguisher.
The fire extinguisher began foaming, which set off the sprinkler and fire alarm.
The carpet and furniture at the north end of the building on all three floors was soaked and flooded.
