POLICE BEAT


1. Nov. 7 - Lost key (UPD Station)

2. Nov. 13 - Recovered parking permit (Lot 10) - Officers notified a student that a parking permit had been recovered along with several others during an investigation.

The student had never filed a report, but the permit had been missing for a few days.

3. Nov. 16 - Burglary (Building 1) _- A Cashier's Office employee reported that her key card for the UNF Hall gym had been stolen from her car, along with a bag of cosmetics, because it was unlocked.

4. Nov. 16 - Lost key (Building 43)

5. Nov. 21 - Stolen computer (Building 14) - A student left his bag in the Game Room for 30 minutes. When he returned, his laptop was gone.

6. Nov. 21 - Stolen parking permit (Lot 11) - A resident left his car on campus over Thanksgiving Break, and when he came back, his parking permit was missing. He told officers he couldn't remember if his windows were rolled up when he left.

7. Nov. 27 - Stolen purse (Building 10) - A student left her bag in a bathroom, and it was stolen.

8. Nov. 28 - Stolen golf cart (Building 46) - A golf cart was stolen overnight and found in the woods between UNF Drive and Lot 12.

The same cart had been stolen twice earlier in the week.

9. Nov. 29 - Lost purse (Building 14) - A student lost track of her purse between the courtyard near Sbarro and Building 14.

10. Nov. 30 - Alcohol under 21 (Building X) - An RA saw a student get out of his car, wrap a bottle of vodka in his shirt, and go to his room. He was referred to Student Conduct.

11. Dec. 1 - Intoxication (Building W) - An RA found a resident stumbling around outside his room.

When officers administered a portable breath test, the result was .166.

The student was taken to Ten Broeck Jacksonville for detox and also referred to Student Conduct.

12. Dec. 1 - Indecent exposure (Building 46) - A female student was jogging near Hodges Stadium when she was accosted by a white male, who made sexual remarks and exposed himself. The victim hid in the stadium until the male left, ran to her car, and drove to UPD to report the incident. While officers were interviewing her, another female student who was also running near the stadium reported the same male had accosted her as well.

Officers located the man walking out of Lot 18 near Gate Parkway. He was arrested.

13. Dec. 1 - Criminal mischief (Lot 12) - A resident reported that someone had egged and dented her car.

No suspects were found.

14. Dec. 2 - Drug investigation (Building A) Officers investigated a report of marijuana possession. Four students were referred to Student Conduct.
