1. April 10, 2007 - Voyeurism (Bldg. 2) - A student contacted the University Police Department after he said he saw a male taking pictures of him through a hole in the toilet tissue box while the student was in a bathroom stall.
The complainant stated he immediately left the restroom after noticing this and waited for the male outside. He asked the male if he was taking pictures of him, and the male said he didn't know what the complainant was talking about it.
The complainant then grabbed the male, who began running. The male threw his belongings at the complainant, then called UPD. He admitting to using his phone in the bathroom, saying he sent a text message to a friend.
The UPD officer checked the male's cell phone and did not find any pictures of the complainant. He found a text message sent by the male at the time of the incident in the bathroom.
The officer also noted a hole in the toilet tissue box between the two stalls where the incident
took place.
Neither the complainant nor the male wished to pursue the case.
The male was recommended to Student Conduct.
2. April 11, 2007 - Drug investigation (Bldg. Y of Osprey Landing)
3. April 11, 2007 - Criminal mischief (Bldg. 44)
4. April 12, 2007 - Possession of alcoholic beverage by person under 21 (Bldg. 38) - A University of North Florida student was found to have unopened cans of Natural Light Beer in his vehicle parked on the fourth floor of a parking garage.
He stated he parked on the fourth floor because he and his friend could not find any open spaces near his dorm and the parking pass he had was only valid on the fourth floor of
the garage.
The two subjects poured out the beer at the scene and were walked to their residences.
Both were referred to Student Conduct.
