Sept. 10 - Alcohol Investigation
A UPD officer was dispatched to Building S of the Crossings in reference to an alcohol investigation. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with a resident assistant who stated he had observed an individual climbing the first and second floor railings of Building S. After being advised to stop, the subject ignored the resident assistant. The officer interviewed the subject, who said he attended a party at Melrose Apartments earlier and had consumed several beers. He was asked to leave the premises and was referred to student conduct.
Sept. 10 - Accidental Injury
A UPD officer was dispatched to the Arena in reference to a reported injury sustained while playing volleyball. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the complainant, who informed the officer that he twisted his ankle playing with friends. The complainant decided to go to the doctor the following day. A staff member completed an accident report.
Sept. 11 - Criminal Mischief
While conducting a property check of Building 7, an officer was approached by a subject who stated her truck had been keyed on Aug. 29. During their conversation, the complainant revealed that she had reported to work at 6 p.m. After being informed by a coworker that her truck had been vandalized, she returned at 9 p.m. to find that it had been keyed. There was a gash in the tailgate and key marks on both sides of the truck. Due to the car not being present, the officer was unable to verify the damage. The complainant informed the officer she would be working on Sept. 12 and the report can be verified that day.
