with faculty

By Tami Livingston
Assistant News Editor

The new contract, effective March 15, includes specific provisions for tenure and promotion, as well as merit pay, where the previous contract under the Board of Regents did not, according to Cheryl Frohlich, associate professor of finance and president of the local chapter of United Faculty of Florida who served as chief negotiator for the UFF bargaining team.
