Students encouraged to use discount lots on campus

For students and faculty at the University of North Florida, parking has been
tight. But according to Vince Smyth, director of auxiliary services, there is
not a lack of spaces.
“There really are enough spaces,” Smyth said. “There are many parking spots
available in lots 14 and 18, but people all want to be close to their classes.”

More than 60 new University of North Florida faulty members were recognized Aug.
26 and 16 other established professors received awards at the 2005 Fall
Convocation.
During his State of the University Address, President John Delaney congratulated
award winners and new members and discussed the future success of UNF as part of
its strategic plan. |
