VALOR stands for Veterans Affairs Learning Opportunities
Residency Program.

About the VALOR program:
-
This residency program gives the
student an opportunity to develop competence in nursing, as well as, explore
the world of VA excellence.
-
The student will be assigned to
a nurse-preceptor in either ICU, SICU, MICU, or a geriatric unit depending
on the VA hospital.

BENEFITS INCLUDE:
-
Salary up to 80-90% of the entry level for new graduates.

No service obligation.
-
Potential to be hired at a VA hospital.

VALOR student work time is credited toward retirement when
you choose to work for the VA after graduation.
