Service and Philanthropy

It is our distinct duty as leaders to give back to the community through service and philanthropy. Sigma Alpha Epsilon’s national philanthropy is the Children’s Miracle Network. Our chapter raises thousands of dollars for CMN every year through programming and fundraising. This past year our chapter held a pre-season softball tournament in the Spring semester. The event drew out hundreds of players and spectators over a three day period. Getting other UNF chapters and clubs involved, as well as other teams from the community made the event a great success.

Florida Nu also participates with other groups and organizations such as: USO, Festival of Lights, Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Florida, Wolfson Children’s Hospital, and more. Every year our chapter participates in multiple sorority philanthropy events and competitions as another outlet of giving back for a good cause.
