What is Rotaract?

Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women.

Rotaract
Rotaract clubs are either community or university based, and they are sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes us true "partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary. The Rotaract club at the University of North Florida is sponsored by Oceanside Rotary.

Rotaries exist all over in the world in 163 countries and geographical areas. We are always looking for the club to grow and continue to do important and exciting projects for the local and international community. We are now a Coggin College of Business Club, but that does not exclude non-business majors from joining--our members have a wide variety of majors and disciplines.

Our Rotaract club continually works with several organizations and projects, such as Habitat for Humanity and BEAM (Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry). We also do coastal cleanups and other environmentally focused projects with New Age Hippy, Keep Jacksonville Beautiful, and the UNF Environmental Center. We have also participated in donating clothing and school supplies as well clean water projects to other countries.

Our Blog

We have done service projects ranging from coastal cleanups to Stop Hunger Now. We have also partnered with clubs on campus, such as the Environmental Center. Rotaract is always looking for more ways to help our community, not only on a local scale, but also globally.
