Mission statement:

The Residence Hall Association at the University of North Florida, herein RHA and UNF respectively, has been established for the following reasons:to address resident concerns about their welfare at UNF, to coordinate area representatives and their councils, to represent the voice of UNF residents at state, regional, and national conferences, to encourage leadership development among its members, to build a community by organizing campus-wide programs, and to act as a liaison between the residents of UNF and the Office of Housing and Residence Life, Student Government, and the different residence halls on campus.

The members of the community of UNF and RHA come from diverse backgrounds and social groups, thus we encourage acceptance and appreciation of people regardless of race, gender, age, ethnicity, able-bodiedness, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or religious affiliation. We believe that each person has worth and should be treated with dignity and respect.

Vision Statement:

As the RHA at UNF we strive to be the organization of choice for promoting leadership opportunities, diversity, personal growth, and UNF pride in residential communities. Therefore, we aim to improve large-scale events, traditions, and relationships with residents and our university partners. In being the voice for the residents, we will make them feel involved and accepted by building a healthy and enjoyable environment that provides residents with the ultimate on-campus living experience. We devote ourselves to fostering a supportive community.
