The purposes of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau
International are to:
- Recognize superior achievement;
- Recognize the development of leadership qualities;
- Foster high professional standards;
- Encourage creative work; and
- Strengthen commitment to the ideals and purposes of the profession.
