MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY ASSOCIATION

Every year, Kappa Alpha Order nationally donates hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, more commonly known as "Jerry's Kids."  Our Brothers around the country have special fundraisers year-round to donate our service and our money to this great organization.

Zeta Nu works with the local Jacksonville B Chapter of MDA to support here in Jacksonville.  KA puts on 3 events yearly to help support MDA: the KA/MDA Bowling Tournament and a Brother Auction which is both apart of our annual Old South Week, and the KA/MDA Golf Classic held in the spring.  Yearly our chapter donates around $2,000.00 to MDA and every year is a little more.  In 2002, our Chapter also participated in another event sponsored by the MDA chapter called the MDA Jingle Bell Walk/Run in which our brothers took 2nd in the Run and 1st and 2nd in the Walk.  Zeta Nu is ready and willing to help those less fortunate through this wonderful philanthropy.  Our Spiritual Founder, Robert E.
