Get on our mailing list!

You have no reason not to join our mailing list.

  • It's free, and it only takes a minute.
  • Members of our mailing list will receive info about upcoming club events and other important, journalism-related news about internships, free-lancing and more!
  • We won't bombard you with e-mails; we'll only send you information when that we know will be important to you.
  • Anybody can join the mailing list, even students from other colleges in the area (FCCJ, JU, EWC, etc.)
    Get on the list now:
Just send an e-mail to unfjournalism@hotmail.com and tell us your
  • name, address, phone number, cell/pager number, e-mail address
  • how often you check e-mail, and what way is best to reach you (voice mail, e-mail, snail mail ...)
  • (optional) how you heard about us
  • (optional) major/track, expected graduation date

That's it! All there is too it -- just a simple e-mail.

    Club membership
Membership in the club is open to all UNF students.
Who should become an official member of the club?

  • Students who are interested in attending most club events, provided that the events don't conflict with their schedules
  • Students who are interested in voting in elections, running for office, or volunteering in the club
NOTE: There are no actual requirements for members; as a member, you are not required to vote, volunteer, or attend events, although the club would certainly appreciate it.
Should you join the mailing list, or become an official member of the club?
The club would prefer that students who have only a slight interest in the club and in journalism join the mailing list instead of joining the club.
  • If you have a strong interest in the club and would like to become a member, you'll need to fill out the club's NEW membership application (updated summer 2002). It's two pages long and takes about five minutes to complete. Contact the club to obtain the application.
NOTE: for the time being, you might want to sign up for the mailing list so you won't miss any news in between now and whenever you complete the application.

Questions? Comments? Suggestions? Send e-mail to unfjournalism@hotmail.com or contact us via other means.

  • WHO should get involved with the Journalism Club?
