Angela Davis, Administrative Coordinator

Angela has been serving JCM since February 1, 2004. Angela comes from Wyoming, Michigan. She enjoys working with Shari and the peer ministers.

 


Sean Manning, Peer Minister
Sean is a Junior at UNF earning two B.A.'s. One is in International Business, the other is Philosophy. He is excited about studying abroad before he completes his degrees. Sean begins his 3rd year as a Peer Minister.

Michelle is a Junior at UNF studying English and Business. She loves to spend time with friends, read, and to have fun. This is her first year at a Peer Minister, and is very excited to experience all that she can.

Dianna is a freshman at UNF. This is her first year as a peer minister.

 

 

    

Sharon "Shari" O' Brien, Campus Minister

Shari O'Brien is the Campus Minister for Jacksonville Campus Ministry [JCM], a student-led, Christ-centered ministry serving the campus of University of North Florida , Jacksonville University , and Florida Community College of Jacksonville. JCM is sponsored by: Christian (Disciples of Christ), Episcopal, Lutheran [ELCA], Presbyterian USA, United Church of Christ (Congregational) and the United Methodist denominations.  

Shari, an ELCA Diaconal Minster, was born in St. Petersburg , Florida . She is a graduate of the University of Florida and Trinity Lutheran Seminary. She and her husband, Les, have two children and five grandchildren.  

Shari was called to serve Jacksonville Campus Ministry in 1998. She has been actively involved in various campus ministry settings and roles for 37 years. She has designed and facilitated liturgies in congregational, retreat, and campus environs. Her ecumenical networking extends throughout Florida . Shari serves as Sacristan and member of the worship committee for the ELCA Florida-Bahamas Synod. She is one of the authors of the ELCA's Peer Ministry Handbook for campus ministries.
