Hispanic American Collegiate Experience

Bienvenidos! The Hispanic American Collegiate Experience has provided a "home away from home" for students. H.A.C.E. serves to enhance and enrich the general understanding of and participation in the diversity of Hispanic/Latino cultures. We strive to be a source where people of similar cultures, values, customs and language can unite to share ideas and events with the community.
We proudly invite students, faculty, staff, and community to learn more about the rich heritage of the Hispanic/Latino community.
We welcome you to visit us and share your thoughts and ideas to make H.A.C.E have more of an impact at UNF!

A Little About Us:

Did You Know????? That Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15 to October 15.

The Hispanic American Collegiate Experience is a club at the University of North Florida dedicated to promoting awareness of the rich and diverse hispanic culture. It is a venue where hispanic students can get to know each other and interact. It is also a place where non-hispanic students go to experience more of the latino culture.

Some of our activities include a language buddy system, latin dance lessons, pot lucks, our semi-annual Latin Night, Numerous Volunteer opportunities, and mentorship program with the Hispanic Council, a group of professional UNF Faculty and Staff dedicated to impacting the lives of students.

The group meetings for Spring 2008 are every other Thursday from 7:30pm-8:30pm in Building 14/1600 rooms.
